1. Are your estimates free?
It depends on the service:

Paid estimate fees are fully credited back toward the project when the homeowner chooses Bellator Exteriors.
2. Are you licensed, insured, and certified?
Yes — Bellator Exteriors is fully licensed and insured in North Carolina.
We are also a TAMKO Platinum Preferred Contractor, a distinction awarded only to high-performing roofing companies that meet TAMKO’s strict standards for workmanship, quality, and customer satisfaction.
This status gives our homeowners access to enhanced manufacturer warranties, upgraded system coverage, and priority support directly from TAMKO.
3. What areas do you service?
We serve the Lake Norman, Huntersville, Charlotte, Mooresville, Denver, Cornelius, and surrounding communities.

4. How long does a roof replacement take?
Most roofs are completed in one day, depending on complexity and weather.

As a Platinum Preferred Contractor, we offer:

All warranty registrations are handled by our office on your behalf.

Insurance & Storm Damage FAQ
7. Do you assist with insurance claims?
Yes. We manage the full process: inspection, documentation, adjuster meetings, supplements, and project execution.
8. Do storm claims raise insurance rates?
Typically, no. Wind and hail claims fall under “Acts of God” and affect the region, not your individual premium.
Siding FAQ
9. Why is there a paid estimate for siding?
Siding estimates involve full elevations, measurements, design planning, material analysis, and custom recommendations—making it a time-intensive service.
The estimate fee is credited back when you approve the project.
10. What siding options do you offer?

11. Why are window estimates not free?
Window projects require precision measuring, product specification, energy-efficiency consultation, and custom sizing.
The consultation fee is credited back toward the project.
Gutter FAQ
12. Are gutter estimates free?
Yes. Full gutter system replacement estimates are always free.
13. Do gutters need replacement with a new roof?
Not always. We inspect condition and pitch before making a recommendation.
Repair / Service Call FAQ
14. Do you charge for repair estimates?
Yes. Repairs fall under a service diagnostic which includes:
Leak tracing
Full exterior inspection
Documentation
On-site troubleshooting
This fee is credited back if the repair is approved.
Project & Process FAQ
15. How do payments work?
Retail projects:
50% deposit
50% at completion
Insurance projects:
ACV payment at start
Depreciation when released by the carrier
Additional supplements billed To Insurance Carrier
16. Do I need to be home during installation?
No. You can be, but it’s not required. We communicate with photos and updates throughout the day.
For window installs we will need access to the inside of the home.
